A big happy birthday to Upschool’s General Manager Jake Davies!

Jake joined us 3 months ago and has transformed our business significantly – in such a short period of time. Not just because he has a decade worth of executive level experience in the corporate world, or that he holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration), or he was a teacher in his first profession, or because he is very efficient and produces lots of amazing work.

But we love Jake here at Upschool because he is one of the most amazing humans we know. He has a huge heart and he is not afraid to tell everyone close to him how much he loves them.

Thank you Jake for setting the example of what is means to be a good human. And for bringing so much richness and depth and helping us to build our culture.

For all the young people out there who might be reading this, one of the most important things future employers look for when hiring for new roles is how nice of a person you are and how well you will fit into the team and take care of the people around you.
